This enhanced and edited print is taken from an original artwork by Ernest S Thompson which featured in ‘Bird World: A Bird Book for Children’ c1898 (see final image).

Produced as a limited edition of ten pieces, each one is hand stitched with red thread to form a special bond between the two birds. The curves of thread will be slightly different on each one.
