These two vintage baskets are very different, and both beautifully timeworn.
The larger of the two is the traditional ‘shopping basket’ size and is made from a dark woven wicker. It has some damage at the end of one handle as shown in the photos.
The small basket is just lovely, with its geometric detailing on the handle. It is a perfect display size and could also be used for soft fruit picking, Easter egg hunts or for gathering posies of flowers.
