An experimental mounted print that uses a metal baking tray as a frame.

This old master painting has been reproduced on canvas and mounted on a metal tray before being heavily varnished to react with the metal and cause patination and a sense of decay.

The tray has been further treated to give it an aged and rusty finish, but it is a shiny silver metal on the back and will not mark your wall.

This piece is 23cm wide and 33cm tall.

I have far too many samples, seconds and one of a kind items that need a home.

A couple of years ago, when I had my little shop unit, I sold lots of individual pieces that never made it onto the website. When I moved out, many of them came home with me and have been in a cupboard ever since. It’s a lovely cupboard and it has protected them well, but it’s time for a clear out.
