This lovely little collection has a natural charm.

The beautiful tree sparrow is perched amongst hazel catkins in an illustration by J G Keulemans from the book ‘Coloured figures of the birds of the British Islands’, published in the late 1800’s. It has been printed onto a sturdy canvas and mounted on A3 board.

Made from a sturdy cardboard yarn bobbin which has been given a neat base, the shape makes it stable, despite its height. The additional decorative touch is provided by rings of vintage metal tape measure that have just the right industrial feel. An original and completely sustainable design. Each one is different.
