This vintage linen set takes inspiration from a wonderful political slogan associated with the women’s suffrage movement, 'Bread for all, and roses, too'.

It also takes me back to childhood when we would ask what was for tea and be told “Bread and”, which meant if it was available and could go on bread, that was what we were having!

These two lovely vintage linen items have been carefully selected and printed by hand to give them a new lease of life.

The linen is beautifully hand stitched with roses and other skilfully detailed flowers. Each piece has a hand crocheted, scalloped edge in contrasting shades of green.

The set consists of an oval centrepiece, or tray cloth, and a complementary coaster that provides the perfect spot for a vase or jug.

The coaster is 16cm in diameter, and the oval cloth is 33cm wide and 47cm in length.

Can be washed by hand or delicate machine washed at 30 degrees.
