Elephant on Wheels No1.

A one-of-a-kind sculpture ornament.

This piece alludes to Indian fables of the elephant and the rabbit, where wit and wisdom can triumph over strength.

This piece is made entirely from reclaimed, repurposed and recycled materials. I’m an obsessive collector and gatherer of things that might come in and this series of domestic sculptures are an amalgamation of the things I’ve accumulated over many years.

This lovely, grey elephant on wheels combines reclaimed wood, mid century teak coasters, bamboo plant canes, recycled upholstery trim, a velvet sample from a sofa company and a second hand ceramic rabbit on top of the elephant.

This ceramic elephant had a chipped back foot which has been silver gilded and embellished with the addition of a decorative anklet.

Approximately 19cm long, excluding pull along cord.
